About Dr. Rowan

Dr. Rowan is originally from the St. Petersburg, Florida region. He has over 30 years' experience in orthopaedics, including 21 years of service as a Flight Surgeon in the USAF. Dr. Rowan decided to specialize in orthopaedics after a friend sustained fractures during a sailing race and Dr. Rowan assisted him by creating splints from boat fiberglass. Since that time, Dr. Rowan has continued to actively help people in his community, specializing in treating patients who have been injured on the job, and acting as team physician and consulting physician for several area sports leagues.Dr. Rowan enjoys Tae Kwon Do, sailing, and scuba diving. He resides in Greensboro with his wife and three children.
