Dr. Rowan joined Guilford Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine in 1993. Dr. Rowan was an F-16 Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force (USAF) and has extensive orthopaedic training in adult reconstructive surgical techniques, including total joint replacement. Dr. Rowan specializes in occupational and cumulative trauma and other work related injuries. Often patients are referred to Dr. Rowan for Independent Medical Evaluations (IME'S).
